Position: Executive Assistant EOMS

 Location: Springfield, VA (Hybrid 3days on-site 2 days off-site) 

 Clearance: Secret or higher 

 TPG is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide the Executive(s) with support in all aspects of their daily work routine. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. To do this role properly you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be proficient in problem-solving, and have experience as an executive or administrative assistant in the past. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information 
  • Liaise with other government and contracting personnel in a professional manner 
  • Manage scheduling for company executive(s) 
  • Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of government executive(s) 
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents, attending to logistics of meetings, and note taking

 The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a DEIA Project Manager with preference for someone who is already preforming this role in Information Resources Management (IRM) at the Department of State (DOS). 

 Position Requirements: 

  • Operation and coordination of the DEIA Council (schedule and staff meetings and organize agendas, produce and send communications, documentation of meeting summaries, transparently publishing and sharing updates and progress, enrolling and tracking roster of members, drafts memos for IRM leaderships, supports/advises Council officers) 
  • Team lead/accountability manager for DEIA team to track and ensure delivery of products and deliverables by deadline 
  • Manage/operate taskIT and clearance processes for communications 
  • Act as DEIA liaison to IRM Special Assistants/Senior Advisors network

Position Requirements: 

  • Monitor DEIA shared mailbox; track and plan scaled responses 
  • Draft communications from DEIA to all IRM 
  • Draft memos for leadership
  • Manage content on SharePoint (both mechanics and substantive content, for target audiences) 
  • Manage/operate taskIT and clearance processes for communications 
  • Act as DEIA liaison to Strategic Communications Unit 
  • Work jointly with project manager to ensure WAR submissions and other reporting and briefings are drafted and submitted

 Position: Peacekeeping Operations Program Coordinator (PKO PC)

 Location:   On-site optional in Washington, DC potential for some telework

The Prospective Group (TPG) is searching for a Peacekeeping Operations (PKO) Program Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the Department of State (DOS) in managing the PKO account.  The position requires coordination and collaboration across DOS Bureaus and DoD Departments on the obligation, expenditure, and management of PKO programs. 

 Position Responsibilities: 

  • Drafting funding memos 
  • Tracking expenditure data 
  • Providing data for congressional briefs and reports 
  • Drafting documents to manage and obligate PKO funds 

Position Requirements: 

  • 2 years of experience managing budget and fiscal processes for security or military assistance programs at DOS or DoD 
  • 2 years of experience managing programs (military assistance programs preferred)    
  • Broad knowledge of US Security Assistance to other nations, understanding the big picture on how everything ties together 
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Solid ability and experience multitasking 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including giving presentations

Position: Senior Software/Application Engineer (Developer)

 The Prospective Group (TPG) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to for provide support for the development and maintenance of a global information system for our client at the Department of State. business and security requirements. 

 Position Responsibilities: 

  • As part of a cross-functional Information Systems team, the Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for coordinating with the PMO to understand business requirements.  
  • As part of an agile team, the Sr. Software Engineer will review the product backlog, participate in backlog refinement sessions, spring planning ceremonies and retrospectives, and develop application functionality to support evolving business and security requirements. 
  • The role is a combination of front-end and back-end software engineering (not simply a content development role). The ideal candidate will be able to work across the entire stack.  

 Position Requirements: 

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent work experience 
  • 9+ years application development and implementation experience 
  • Experience with all phases of the SDLC for a data-centric web application including coding, testing, and maintaining a web application 
  • Experience with full-stack development on Microsoft frameworks (C#, WebAPI, Entity Framework, SQL Server) 
  • Experience writing front-end applications in TypeScript with frameworks such as Angular 4+ or React 
  • Experience writing applications with a Test-driven Development methodology
  • Enjoys working in an Ensemble/Mob environment or Pair Programming 
  • Experience using Git with feature branches and pull request flow for source code management 
  • Comfortable with remote development using tools such as LiveShare, Zoom, MS Teams, etc. 
  • Languages: C#, TypeScript, Javascript, T-SQL, Markdown 
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum and/or Kanban software development environment

The ideal candidate will work with a team to support the State Department's Message Design division. We are looking for a coordinator that has a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is detail oriented and organized. This candidate should have experience and knowledge leading and organizing a team with varying priorities. 

  Key Responsibilities: 

  • Employ agile principles to establish a two-week deployment schedule 
  • Coordinate tasks to include tracking delivery, installation, and ensuring operations and security protocols are conducted 
  • Liaise between product teams, end users, and onsite government employees 
  • Assist in leading a team of IT professionals supporting a major DOS IT program 
  • Responsible for ensuring all team activities are performed and completed in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner
