For the Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Consular Affairs, The Prospective Group (TPG) provided comprehensive acquisition support for the recompete of two large contracts, each valued at several hundred million dollars, to operate the two national visa centers and approximately 25 passport centers and agencies. The contracts were competitively awarded and performance based. TPG’s evaluated underlying business processes, defined requirements, and established effective performance metrics.
The Prospective Group (TPG) supported the DOS Bureau of Diplomatic Security in planning, acquisition, and independent validation and verification (IV&V) of a new Security and Suitability Management System (S2MS). TPG developed detailed requirements, defined the acquisition strategy, facilitated the pre-proposal conference, and assisted in all phases up to award. Post-award, TPG provided project management and technical services including requirements management, software design review, quality assurance/quality control, and testing. The system entailed complex integration with the Office of Personnel Management and State Department systems, supporting a dispersed network of 1,000 investigators around the world.
