Project Management

The Prospective Group (TPG) offers a complete range of program and project management experience, skills, and certifications. Our approach to managing projects is based on the key project management phases that encompass the solution delivery life cycle: project initiation, planning, execution, control, and project close.

We are skilled in dealing with the complexities of a matrixed project organization that services a constantly evolving customer base and portfolio of projects. TPG supplies project management support responsible for performance, cost, schedule, and scope of all assigned projects. Our team follows the Project Management Institute’s: Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMI/PMBOK) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Service Level III standards.

We have successfully adapted project management services for Software Development Lifecycles (SDLCs) that range from the sequential Waterfall methodology to the Iterative Agile Methodology. Our program and project managers hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

U.S. Office of Personnel Management

      The Prospective Group (TPG) is currently supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB), previously the Office of Personnel Management, in all aspects of budgeting and financial management for its $150M revolving information technology fund. We developed and published several policy documents for financial management, enterprise risk assessment, internal controls, and standard operating procedures. We have also conducted extensive analysis of contract close-outs and the financial status of obligations and expenditures.

      The Prospective Group developed several successful procurements for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), developing the required Agile, OPM Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), and acquisition artifacts such as acquisition plans, Independent Government Cost Estimate, determination of findings, statement of work, project charters, feasibility analysis, budget estimates, and cost benefit analysis documents.
