|Overview:The System Integration Office (SIO) and its Business Engagement Center (BEC), which are part of the Department of State’s Information Resource Management Bureau, is restructuring and as part of this effort they are aiming to redefine how they do business. The goal of this effort is to better align the IT operations with business management, governance, and reporting requirements in an effort to be more efficient and cost effective while providing measurable value to the mission of the Department of State. In this new SIO alignment the BEC division and will be focused on 3 primary management areas including:
The BEC division is seeking resources that are needed to help develop and lead new approaches and frameworks to how IT Security and IT Business Management is handled across SIO. The support analyst will be responsible for meeting coordination and invites, minutes, tracking action items, issues, etc., and follow up on these items. In addition this resource will support documentation of key SIO and BEC artifacts including those around ITBM and IA process, procedures, standards, and governance.
Candidates MUST be US Citizens with at least the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

The BEC ITBM and IA Consultant will help shape and enhance the security and IA posture on SIO projects. Includes acting as a liaison to IA office to create a partnership between IA and SIO for making sure security processes are followed. This includes assisting with putting more rigor in place around system classification, system authorization processes to gain IATO, and ATOs for systems and tracking and following up on POAMs. This IA Analyst will be responsible for defining and executing the processes for how SIO provides analysis on the status on POAM and what it will take to achieve full Authority to Operate for systems and applications. The System Integration Office’s Business Engagement Center is seeking support for its efforts in collecting and communicating important information across the other SIO divisions. The BEC division chief is seeking team members that are savvy in the areas of IT operations and have to ability to converse with stakeholders across SIO. Key areas within SIO that BEC must interface with include Enterprise Server Operations Center, EPI, CCS, etc.
